I'm opening my garden for practical day of permaculture learning next Saturday, 27 May 2017 from 10am - 2:30pm. I'll be sharing the 5 essential strategies I use to create the low-maintenance garden here. It's simple, resilient and abundant - full of vegetables, herbs, fruits, medicines, mulch and more. We'll be getting hands-on in the garden, learning by doing - designing, setting up a garden, exploring many different ways to improve soil health, and playing with plants - getting to know about plant selection, propagation and how to create robust diversity. Our lunches here are always deliciously simple - shared in the garden & prepared using garden produce.
My place is at Crystal Waters, the permaculture village near Maleny, QLD. On Saturday mornings the organic wood-fired sourdough bakery is open down at the village green so you can pop in there on your way into the ecovillage for a fabulous loaf of bread and a morning coffee. You might also be interested in camping overnight - we do have a really nice campground here, and a couple of rooms. http://crystalwaters.org.au/things-to-do/eco-caravan-park/
